ON Semiconductor's NCP103 150mA CMOS Low Dropout Regulators are a 150mA LDO that provides the engineer with a very stable, accurate voltage with low noise suitable for space constrained, noise sensitive applications. In order to optimize performance for battery operated portable applications, the NCP103 employs the dynamic quiescent current adjustment for very low IQ consumption at noload. Typical applications include PDAs, mobile phones, GPS, smartphones, wireless handsets, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, Zigbee, portable medical equipment and other battery powered applications.

The NCP103AMX180TCG is a high-performance power management chip designed by onsemi. It is a dual-mode step-down switching regulator that combines a low-power PWM controller with a high current power stage to deliver up to 3A of continuous output current. With an operating input voltage range of 1.7 V to 5.5 V, it features low dropout (75 mV typical at 150 mA), high PSRR (75 dB at 1kHz), and offers thermal shutdown and current limit protections. Housed in a 4-UDFN Exposed Pad package, it has a very low quiescent current of Typ. 50 μA, making it suitable for various applications that require efficient power management.
