Planar transformers feature power levels from 50-200W

Champs Technologies officially introduces to the market a standard planar transformer series termed “G45”. They have been specifically developed, tested and adapted for use in Linear Technology’s Reference Design Series DC1317A. That series is renowned for its high efficiency and power throughput employing a forward converter active clamp topology on the input side and secondary side SR control on the secondary side. The predominant application space is generally understood as telecom which covers an input voltage range of 9-36, 18-72 and 36-72. Power levels range typically from 50-200W. We can adapt the designs for pad-to-pad, embedded or half-embedded mechanical configurations and also will supply it in DC-DC module form, performing all SM assembly, manufacture and testing.
